Strategic Plan
In January 2009, the CHC Board of Directors authorized the initiation
of the process that would result in a strategic plan which would
assist CHC in fulfilling its mission for Carondelet in the 21st
Century. Five private investors with ties to the community provided
funding for the research and retention of key consultants. T. Harkness & Associates
was retained, and with assistance of the St. Louis University Office
for Community and Social Research and the Regional Housing and
Community Development Alliance (RHCDA), this 21st Century Carondelet
Strategic Plan was put into motion. In September 2009, this 21st
Century Carondelet Strategic Plan was completed and adopted by
CHC.

A wide variety of meetings were held with the community over a
9 month period in 2009, with clients, the community, business and
industry leaders at locations across Carondelet to present ideas,
answer questions, and gain insight, culminating in a final meeting
at the Sisters of St. Joseph Motherhouse to over 100 Carondelet
residents and business leaders on September 10, 2009.
Community Meeting Room
In addition to providing the community
with a Strategic Plan, CHC also has a meeting room available for
use. This room includes stand-alone maps of the entire Strategic
Plan, and can be utilized by those in commercial/residential planning
and development, real estate, contractors, and the Carondelet
community.
